Admissions
School facilities
Atlas Barber School is located in the downtown, east side area of New York City. It is convenient to all subways and buses. The school is located on the first floor of a modern building and complies with New York City requirements of building occupancy, fire and health. The practical area is equiped with 13 barber chairs, sinks, mirrors, cabinets, and patron waiting area. The practical area is opened to the public to provide students with experience. The entire area is air-conditioned.
School calendar
The Atlas Barber School is opened 52 weeks a year, 6 days per week. We are closed on Sundays.
We observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, Dr. King's Birthday, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Housing
Atlas Barber school maintains no housing facilities.
Placement assistance
Atlas Barber School maintains a placement service. No guarantee of employment is made to any student or graduate. Arrangements are made for job interviews.
Registration
For all classes, registration is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Please read our school policies before registering.
